- Offas Dyke path, Pen-y-Fan and the stunning Tintern are all a short drive away.
- Monmouthshire has some beautiful historic towns to visit, Usk, Raglan, Monmouth, Abergavenny, and Tintern all short drives away, and don’t forget our capital city Cardiff is just 2 stops on the train, great for all those rugby matches!

Venta Silurum was a town in the Roman province of Britannia or Britain. Today it consists of remains in the village of Caerwent in Monmouthshire, south east Wales. Much of it has been archaeologically excavated and is on display to the public.

The castle was developed as a fortress by Royal hands in the Middle Ages and restored as a Victorian family home. The river Nedern winds its way through the park and the wildlife pond is home to a variety of wildfowl.
